GUIDED WALKING TOURS

May 1 – September 30 | Tuesday – Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.

Guided Walking Tours are available for groups of up to 20-25 people and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Tours last approximately one hour and may include up to one mile of walking. Larger groups and/or tours scheduled with less than two weeks’ notice will be accommodated as resources are available.

GOLF CART TOURS

May:
Tuesday – Friday, 10am & 2:30pm

June – August:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 10am & 2:30pm
Wednesdays & Sundays at 10Am, 12:30pm & 2:30pm.

September:
Tuesday – Friday at 2:30pm

Enjoy the beauty of Dow Gardens from the comfort of a golf cart! Golf cart tours are available May – September. Maximum of 5 guests per cart tour. For groups of 6-10 people, a second golf cart may be available upon request. Tours last approximately one hour.

Tours scheduled with less than two weeks’ notice will be accommodated as resources are available. Reservations can be made by calling 989.631.2677.

Join us for a stroll back in time! Visitors will meet on the porch of The Pines, the home of Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow, and partake in a guided walking tour through the gardens. Photographs, along with letters and journals from the archive will shed light on how the property looked when it was the private residence of the Dow family.

Step into the world of Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow when you tour The Pines, a National Historic Landmark. The home is still filled the treasures collected by the Dow family and trained docents will share the stories that make these artifacts come to life.
