From growing basics, including fertilizer, controlling insects and weeds to colorful planting combinations, this fast-paced, informative workshop covers everything you need to know to garden like never before. Easy planting strategies are explained, including creative ideas for deterring deer, rabbits, and voles. Brie will also cover tips and tricks for container gardening. From hanging baskets and patio planters, to fabric bags and raised beds, Brie’s enthusiasm for gardening is contagious and she aims to get everyone excited for the 2021 growing season!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Known for her leadership with the Foodscape movement Brie Arthur is a celebrated speaker and bestselling author. A recipient of an American Horticultural Society Award, Brie studied landscape design at Purdue University. She has worked as a grower and propagator for leading nurseries and her passions center on sustainable land management and promoting the value of gardening across the US.
