So you’d like to become a beekeeper? From ordering bees to harvesting honey, this mentorship-style experience will guide you confidently through the beekeeping season.  Learn about bee biology, maintenance, and how to successfully prepare your hive for the winter. Each 1.5-hour session, led by entomologist Elly Maxwell, will include time for your questions.

$50 per person (for the series). Classes take place at Whiting Forest of Dow Gardens. Students ages 16 years and up are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must register.
